Our Halle site The technological heart of STORCK

The Storck factory in Halle (Westphalia) in Germany is our "countryside factory". It focuses mainly on sugar confectionery. This is also where our forward-looking "think tank" is based, which is responsible for most of the company's technological developments.

With more than 2,500 employees, Halle (Westphalia) is now Storck's biggest location and the home of many successful brands. The factory was built between 1945 and 1949. This is where Werther's Original, nimm2, Riesen, Toffifee and Super Dickmann's are made, for example. All journeys undertaken by our confectionery start here in our logistics centre, which was added to the site in 1994. Everything that happens at the other locations in terms of technology is invented, designed and built here, where Stock's technological heart beats.

Besides work, the region of Eastern Westphalia has everything to offer that improves the quality of life. Halle itself, situated at the centre of the triangle formed by the cities of Gütersloh, Osnabrück and Bielefeld, offers excellent opportunities for shopping. In the north, the city extends right to the edge of the Teutoburger Wald forest, which offers many opportunities for recreation and interesting day trips. The city centre features many of the half-timbered houses that are typical for Westphalia. Especially families soon feel at home here, thanks to the ideal infrastructure.

The Gerry Weber Stadion - named after the major fashion company, which is based here - offers outstanding entertainment with a variety of sports and music events.
