Sales traineeship

You have finally graduated and are now ready for new, practical challenges. As a sales trainee with Storck in Germany, you will be working on clever sales strategies and accompany strong brands such as Toffifee, Werther’s Original and merci chocolate and others on their way to the customers. At each stage of your trainee programme, you will be supported by experienced sales professionals. This allows you to grow until you are ready to take on a responsible position, and you will get to know the entire spectrum of Storck's sales activities.

Your plan: comprehensive support during every step of your career.
  • Your first stop will be 15 months in area management. You will manage a sales area and gain insights into regional sales management.
  • Next on the agenda are 6 months with the national Key Account Management department in Berlin. You will carry the responsibility for some of the day-to-day running of the business there.
  • In the next 6 months of your trainee period, you will grow your expertise in the German National Marketing department. You will become actively involved in brand management at a national level. You may also spend some time in related departments, such as Research & Category Management, Product Management and Trade Marketing.
  • Your will then move on to the Business Support/ Finances department for 3 months. Through intensive on-the-job training, you will acquire basic skills in areas such as Planning & Steering or Analysis & Calculation.

 We also expect you to have a degree in economics – preferably with a sales focus. You have already proven your passion for sales through relevant internships and work placements, or by gaining a relevant vocational qualification. Your profile is completed by first practical experiences or some time spent studying abroad, and you should also have a good command of English.
