The Storck USA, L.P. was founded in 1977. Starting with 5 employees, the team of the US subsidiary consists of more than 70 colleagues today. After Toffifee, the first product launch, other Storck brands like Werther’s Original, RIESEN und Mamba quickly followed. In North America, the taste of caramel is popular. Werther's Original is among the most successful brands in the segment. In 2010, the Werther's Original caramel shop was established in Walt Disney World's EPCOT theme park. In 2015, the - in the US market available only - Werther's Original Caramel Popcorn was elected Product of the Year in the category "snack".
